    Over a hundred people came out to participate in the Ride/Walk for the Mission on May 19n 2012 to benefit Streetlight for the Mission.  The 3^rd annual event was a huge success, raising over $35,000.  All of the participants were eager and excited as they gathered at the starting line to begin the race.  There were four different bicycle races that varied in length and two walking routes.  After finishing their respective races, people were all smiles at their accomplishments, finishing a race and contributing to a good cause.  After the races, people enjoyed barbeque-style food and fun activities for adults and children alike that included live music, face painting, a climbing wall and games.  “It was a beautiful day for such an amazing event,” said Sarino Tropeano, the event director.  “People are having a great time and it makes me happy that more and more people come out every year to support the Streetlight Mission cause.”
