      Rising junior Cheyenne Allen of East Orange was accepted into JSA (Junior Statesmen of America) Summer School at Princeton University.  The program is designed so that high school students can explore the world of politics while in a prestigious academic environment.  Cheyenne’s concentration throughout the program will be Speech & Political Communications.

Cheyenne’s political and business ambitions are only beginning.  She hopes to bring a chapter of JSA to Union Catholic, with the purpose of giving UC’s Young Politicians Club an organization to back it, as well as numerous opportunities to attend conferences and plan trips.  She is also in the process of starting her own online magazine company.  Her intentions are to start this company now so that it will be well underway by the time she has graduated college and can fully devote her time to its growth and development.  This project will be an alternative teen magazine for girls, where the focus is on academics and life skills, rather than solely fashion and cosmetics.
