John's Meat Market in Scotch Plains was voted Best Butcher in New Jersey 2010, according to readers of New Jersey Monthly Magazine. This is the first "Best of NJ" issue where the magazine put the nomination and voting process entirely in the hands of readers. John's was lauded for its service and hormone- and antibiotic-free meats.
