Protect Yourself Against Identity Theft
The public is invited to Scotch Plains Public Library on Wednesday, February 6, at 6:30 PM to hear Brenda Adams, an Independent Associate of Legal Shield, speak about ways you can prevent identity theft.
Ms. Adams warns, “It is not just your Social Security number they want! Identity theft is one of the fastest growing crimes in America today. The Federal Trade Commission estimates that nine million Americans have their identities stolen each year. Identity theft is a devastating crime that can cost you thousands of dollars and take years to resolve.
