In a Press Release from The Scotch Plains Junior Women’s Club:  The Scotch Plains Junior Women’s Club is now accepting registration forms for the annual spring Town-Wide Garage Sale to be held on Saturday, June 2 from 9 am - 2 pm (rain date is Sunday, June 3). 

It’s easy to participate!  The cost is $20 to list your address and items for sale on the garage sale map, which is distributed on the morning of the sale for free in Scotch Plains and Fanwood.  You hold your own garage sale and keep all profits. The event is publicized on the internet and in local and statewide newspapers. 

Registration forms are available at the local libraries and online at their website, www.spjwc.com.  Please mail your $20 check payable to SPJWC, along with a completed registration form to:  SPJWC, P.O. Box 284, Scotch Plains, NJ  07076.  All registration forms and checks must be received by May 21.  Proceeds from this event are allocated to local charities.

Over 75 houses are already registered for the garage sale. The final list of participating houses and guide map will be available after 7 p.m. on June 1, at both local Quick Chek stores (North Avenue and Westfield Avenue) and Saturday morning, June 2, at Fanwood Bagel.
