5 Things: Free Outdoor Movies and More
The events and issues to keep in mind today.
- Fanwood's summer movie series continues at 8:30 p.m. with a free screening of "Despicable Me" in LaGrande Park. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets and bug spray. In the event of rain, the movie will be screened Wednesday.

- Escape the heat at the Scotch Plains Public Library's "Nintendo Wii for Teens" from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. This free program, which includes snacks, is open to children entering grades six through 12.
- Union County's "Family Fun and Flix" continues at Warinanco Park in Roselle with a free screening of "Space Jam." The event starts at 7:30 p.m. and includes games, basketball, and other attractions.
