- Community centers in Scotch Plains and Fanwood are continuing to offer their services and facilities to local residents without power. For the rundown, click here.
- Teachers: The Scotch Plains-Fanwood Schools' staff convocation has been canceled due to a lack of electricity at the high school. Staff members are asked instead to their home schools at 8:30 a.m.
- The Fanwood Board of Health meets at 7 p.m. at the Patricia M. Kuran Cultural Arts Center.
- Registration for the Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA's Livestrong mini-triathlon is ongoing though Oct. 1. The event will take place Sunday, Oct. 2, at 7 a.m. For details, click here.
