Members of the Fanwood Rescue Squad delivered a show-and-tell presentation at the Goddard School on South Avenue Oct. 12. In the parking lot outside the school, squad vice president Nancy Mustachio, first responder Bob Hoyer and EMT and Patch editor Alan Neuhauser taught two groups of about 60 pre-schoolers what to do in an emergency ("call 911"), demonstrated how EMTs might treat a child who tripped and fell on the playground, then gave the students a tour of the ambulance. A highlight, of course, was the lights and siren. Click the images below for photos from the event.
