Five Things: Interfaith Service, Career Networking and Planning Board
The events and issues to keep in mind today.
- Congregation Beth Israel on Martine Avenue in Scotch Plains hosts Scotch Plains and Fanwood's annual interfaith Community Thanksgiving service tonight. The service, which is free, starts at 7:30 p.m. Click here for more information.
- The Scotch Plains Public Library hosts a meeting of its Career Networking Group at 7 p.m. This evening's event, called "Don't Just Think Outside the Box – Think Out of This World," teaches how to think differently than the competition, specifically when looking for a job. As the library's website describes, "Learn how to see the light when there doesn't appear to be any and how to turn misfortune into opportunity."
