Mahr and Glover Release Statement on Looking Forward to Working Together

The two met in Fanwood, where Mahr congratulated Glover on his recent election.

The following information was provided by the Scotch Plains and Fanwood Democrats.


Scotch Plains Mayor-Elect Kevin Glover and Fanwood Mayor Colleen Mahr recently met together in Fanwood. At the meeting, Mayor Mahr congratulated Glover on his recent election.

The two released a joint statement saying, "We look forward to working together for both our communities."

I'm Holden MaGroin and I hate to start off on the wrong foot....but really?
I'll give them that it's a nice photo, but "They met in Fanwood and look forward to working together?"

In other news, I ran into Hugh Jass at the Dunkin Donuts. We split a crueller and look forward to getting together at Applebees on Saturday night.

Yes Holden, but that didn't get you your photo op for the local paper...did it? I felt the same way as I read this short fluff piece. Guess that's why they don't waste paper to print the patch :)
