Double Dipper hands down! Love their Moose Tracks and their Tahitian Vanilla!

Double dipper is dangerously close to my parent's house! However I must admit that I have always been a sucker for the mud pie flavor at Scoops. Does anybody remember Breakaway? I have pretty fond memories of walking to their Park Ave. location from Park Middle School. They made the BEST root beet floats!

Breakaway! That was where Marion Jewelers is now, right? I used to go there after school too. Before that there used to be a Dairy Queen around the corner on E 2nd in what's now the dry cleaner's next to the new Scotch Hills.
I'm partial to Double Dipper. The guy who owns it is really nice, they keep the tables and floors very clean, and their cakes/pies are really, really good.

double dipper is good, but pricey. so when my family goes out for ice cream we go to scoops. but its sad that the new 'fad' is frozen yogurt. frozen yogurt places are increasing, causing the ice cream places to lose business. but personally, i love ice cream and i could eat it all the time!
