Pictured are members of the Park Middle School Environmental Club who posed for photo after parcipating in a Tree Identification Workshop sponsored by the Fanwood Shade Tree Commission.

As the students took in some sunshine at The Carriage House Park in Fanwood, the club members learned to identify trees by observing tree characteristics such as leaves, flowers and bark.

The Carriage House Park is home to 15 different kinds of trees and is a beautiful place to spend a Spring afternoon. The Environmental Club meets once a week after school to learn about environmental issues.
