[PHOTOS] Girls Scouts Go to Washington

The scouts took a tour of the US Capital, visited the National Archives, US Holocaust Memorial Museum and National Museum of American History.

Fanwood-Scotch Plains Cadette Troop 40969 spent the weekend of April 27th in Washington, DC.  

The scouts took a tour of the US Capital, visited the National Archives where they saw the original Declaration of Independence, US Constitution and Bill of Rights, visited the US Holocaust Memorial Museum, National Museum of American History and took in other fabulous sights at our Nation's capital.

The girls also ventured into Georgetown to have a first-hand sample of Georgetown Cupcakes. Fanwood-Scotch Plains is one of 138 communities in Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey, which serves over 25,000 girls and 11,000 adult members in 7 counties across Central New Jersey.
