Weigh Less, Live More is a new program by Sharon Goldner of Fanwood’s Wellness Group. It is a six-session program helping people take control of their health and their lives. The PTA will hold a Roundtable with Board of Education at 7:30 p.m. at Terrill Middle School.
At 9 a.m. AARP Tax-aide is offering free tax preparation at the Scotch Plains Public Library. Bring a photo ID and all 2012 federal and New Jersey tax forms and a copy of the 2011 federal and state returns. There will be a Fanwood Republican meeting on Wed. January 30 at 7:30 p.m. at Sun Tavern on South Avenue.
On Thursday, Friday and Saturday Bigg Playdate will be holding their indoor farmer’s market featuring plenty of food vendors both from the summer market and new vendors. The market takes place from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 1730 East Second Street in Scotch Plains.
At 7 p.m.the Union County Vo-Tech Schools’ Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) club with hold their annual “Project Hope”. This year the UCVTS FBLA is working with the charity, “OneSight” www.onesight.org/na/ which aims to provide eye care, to those cannot be able to obtain it under normal circumstances.
