DESCRIPTION:Woodstock based Duo\, Denise Jordan Finley and Daniel Pagdon\
 , life long natives of the Hudson Valley will perform Contemporary Folk 
 generated music that touches on Traditional\, Americana\, Bluegrass\, Ja
 zz\, Rock\, and Classical at the Scotch Plains Public Library\, Sunday\,
  June 10 at 2 pm. &nbsp\;Each have explored their music as composers\, p
 erformers\, recording artists and educators.&nbsp\; Finley and Pagdon ar
 e self-taught on their instruments.&nbsp\; Anchoring their music on two 
 superbly played guitars\, along with Finley's expressive voice\, and the
 ir powerful songwriting\, they perform with full bands in colleges\, the
 aters\, and outdoor parks and festivals.\nBetween them\, they have playe
 d for a sum of over six decades. They started playing professionally\, b
 oth\, as children. They continue to maintain their inimitable music whic
 h exudes the warmth\, truth and technical skill that only years of exper
 ience can offer.&nbsp\; Their touching\, humorous\, and visually captiva
 ting performances have engrossed audiences since 2005.  To date\, they h
 ave won numerous prestigious honors and awards\, including: mentions\, p
 laces\, and wins in regional\, national\, and international competitions
  in songwriting\, such as: the New Jersey Folk Festival\, Falcon Ridge F
 estival\, Old Songs Festival\, Walnut Valley Festival\, The Great Americ
 an Songwriters Competition\, Plowshares Competition\, Mid-Atlantic State
 s Songwriting Competition\, and Great Lakes Songwriting Contest\, to nam
 e some.  Their Songs and Albums have topped the charts for international
  radio airplay surveys.&nbsp\; Folk DJ International Folk Radio airplay 
 forum\, has regularly recognized them among the top 6 ranking\, in the a
 reas of best album\, best song\, and best artist.&nbsp\; They have playe
 d their music live\, in most of the states of the union\, from coast to 
 coast United States. City.\nThe concert will be open to the public witho
 ut charge.&nbsp\; Seating will begin at 1:30 pm.&nbsp\; No registration
