Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish kicks off a season of Lenten Service with an Ice Cream Social for children and their parents on Fat Tuesday, February 12, from 4pm to 5pm. It will be held in IHM’s Father Byrne Auditorium, 1571 Martine Avenue in Scotch Plains. The Social is free, but children under 10 should be accompanied by a parent or guardian while unaccompanied children over 10 should have written permission.
To ensure that there is enough Ice Cream for all, the Parish requests that those wishing to attend contact the Parish Office at (908) 889-2100, or by email at IHM123@aol.com before the event with the names and number of people attending.

More About Immaculate Heart of Mary Church
The Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, founded in 1964, offers church worship services, youth groups, choir groups, book study groups, religious education for all ages and more. The church is also involved in Habitat for Humanity and Interfaith Council for the Homeless, and it hosts at least three blood drives a year. The church also established its own food pantry more than 28 years ago that gives to families in need. Donations for the food pantry are collected after mass on the third Sunday of each month.
