IHM to Participate in Archdiocesan "Light's On" Initiative to Promote Sacramental Reconciliation
Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 1571 Martine Ave, Scotch Plains, NJ | Get Directions »

Lenten reconciliation and healing provide the rationale for IHM’s participation in an initiative under the auspices of the Archdiocese of Newark entitled “The Light is On for You”. On Wednesdays during Lent (February 20 and 27; March 6, 13, 20 and 27) the Sacrament of Reconciliation will be available from 7pm to 8pm at any Catholic Church anywhere in Union County (and in fact, anywhere in the Archdiocese!).
In addition to its own regular times of 5pm – 5:30pm Saturdays and 10:00am – 10:30am Sundays, IHM will be offering additional Lenten opportunities Friday mornings at 9am and Saturdays at 1pm to provide Catholics everywhere the opportunity to “Come Home” for a celebration of Easter.
