NJ Blood Services is reporting an O negative blood shortage. O negative blood is the universal blood type that can be transfused into all others. Please donate on Wednesday, January 16th from 11am to 6pm and Friday, January 18th from 2 to 9 pm at the NJBS Donor Center, 2279 South Ave. in Scotfch Plains. Donors should be 16 years with parental consent, weigh 110 lbs. and be in generally good health. Persons with questions of eligibility should call 1-800-933-2566.
