SCOTCH PLAINS – On February 1, 2013, the parish community of Saint Bartholomew the Apostle will hold its 8th annual Knights and Dames Celebration. The honor of Knight or Dame is bestowed upon individuals who have contributed to the life of the parish community with extraordinary gifts of time, talent, and treasure. This year, the following individuals have been nominated for this
prestigious commendation:

The evening will begin with a 6:00 pm prayer service in the church. Following the induction ceremony, a dinner reception will be held at The Gran Centurions, 440 Madison Hill Road, Clark from 7:30-10:30 pm, where guests will enjoy live music by the renowned Scotch Plains-Fanwood Moonglowers. Tickets for the buffet dinner are $40.00 per

This Catholic church, established in 1948, offers church services, religious classes for children and adults, choir groups, youth ministries, vacation bible school and more. The church also has a social ministry that helps people in need by volunteering for or hosting reoccurring events such as Community Food Bank, CROP Walk, St. Mary’s Coat Giveaway, Pedals for Progress and Justice for All.
