The Scotch Plains Library is hosting Star Wars Night. Join us for an evening of fun and excitement as Star Wars characters visit the library! Representatives from New Jersey’s Star Wars 501st Legion will be here to meet and greet families. Balloon sculptor Colin Jaffe will also be featured and will make light sabers and other Star Wars themed surprises. Feel free to come in costume, if you like!

In addition to a large collection of books, the library also offers a selection of magazines, audio books, videos, music CDs, classes, computers, events and more. This family-friendly library has a separate children’s room with a large open area for kids to play. The room also has a set of computers, decorated like animal faces, for kids to do online research.
