DESCRIPTION:From April 2\, 2012 until May 10\, 2012\, the work of Hanna K
 eselman will be presented at the Donald B. Palmer Museum in the Springfi
 eld Free Public Library.&nbsp\; Ms Keselman states that &ldquo\;My main 
 objective in painting is to show the world as it ought to be\, bright an
 d beautiful.&nbsp\; Most of my work consists of still life paintings in 
 oil\, but I&nbsp\; have also done some pastels.&nbsp\; I love the textur
 e and feel of the oil paint.&nbsp\; I am especially interested in reflec
 tive surfaces and in the transparency of glass.&rdquo\;&nbsp\; &nbsp\;&n
 bsp\;\nBorn in Germany and a resident of the U.S. since 1947\, Ms Keselm
 an has taken classes at the NJ center for Visual Arts in Summit\, the Ar
 t Students League\, and privately.&nbsp\; Her paintings are in collectio
 ns in New York City\, Panama\, Israel\, and numerous places in NJ.&nbsp\
 ; &ldquo\;The most important part of painting is the process and the act
 ion involved in getting to the result.&rdquo\;\nThe Donald B. Palmer Mus
 eum is located in the Springfield Free Public Library\, 66 Mountain Ave.
 \, Springfield.&nbsp\; Hours of the exhibit are Monday\, Wednesday\, and
  Thursday 10 am to 8:30 pm and Tuesday\, Friday\, and Saturday from 10 a
 m to 4:30 pm.&nbsp\; On Sundays\, the Museum is open from 1 pm - 4:30 pm
