DESCRIPTION:Temple Sha&rsquo\;arey Shalom of Springfield   is hosting a G
 rand Slam Event&mdash\;a charity softball game against the Springfield F
 ire Department.&nbsp\; TEAM TSS\, comprised of young and adult Temple me
 mbers\, takes on the township&rsquo\;s Bravest on Wednesday\, May 30\, 2
 012 at 6:30pm at the Springfield Pool Field on Morrison Road in Springfi
 eld.&nbsp\; A rain date is scheduled for Wednesday\, June 6.&nbsp\;   &n
 bsp\;  Proceeds from the event will help support the Temple&rsquo\;s edu
 cational programs and Springfield H.O.P.E\, the Fire Department&rsquo\;s
  designated charity.&nbsp\;\nSpringfield H.O.P.E.--or Helping Other Peop
 le Endure--provides assistance to needy families in Springfield.&nbsp\; 
   &nbsp\;  Firefighter Joseph Popolo\, President of FMBA Local 57\, says
  &ldquo\;We are excited to be able to participate in this charity softba
 ll game to help raise money for Temple Sha'arey Shalom and Springfield H
 OPE\, two wonderful organizations here in Springfield.&rdquo\; &nbsp\; T
 emple co-President and TEAM TSS coach Felice Schneier adds &ldquo\;We lo
 ok forward to playing the Fire Department in this wonderful community ev
 ent and we hope everyone will come out and watch us play.&nbsp\; It&rsqu
 o\;s a great way to spend a warm\, spring evening.&nbsp\; The SFD is in 
 for a great game&mdash\;I hope they&rsquo\;re ready for us!&rdquo\;   Th
 e community is invited to bring a lawn chair and come out to cheer on TE
 AM TSS and the Springfield Fire Department--all for a great cause! &nbsp
 \; Admission is $5 per person\, with kids under five FREE.&nbsp\; There 
 will raffle prizes and snacks and refreshments for sale from J&amp\;M Cu
