Bugsy Malone Jr. the Musical

Theatre to All is proud to present Bugsy  Malone  Jr. on Dec 13th and 14th at St. Bartholomew  the Apostle Church in Scotch Plains.

In its 4th year at St. Bart’s , Theatre to All was founded, directed and performed by kids on a mission to raise money for the needy in our local community.  In lieu of admission, voluntary donations will be collected for the “Charity Starts at Home” fund which provides financial relief to families in Scotch Plains and surrounding areas.

Lina Zikas, founder and director, chose the musical based on the original movie starring a young Jodie Foster and Scott Baio.   A hilarious tale of bumbling bad guys, a smooth-talking, good-at-heart  guy named Bugsy, and whipped cream slings, this musical send-up of Hollywood’s old gangster films is sure to be a hit with all ages!

Last year they were able to raise over $3000 which went to helping families whose homes had been destroyed by Sandy and replenishing the food bank.

Shows are Friday  Dec 13th at 7pm and Saturday Dec 14th at 2:30pm  in the auditorium of St. Bartholomew Academy,  2032 Westfield Avenue, Scotch Plains.
