It’s football season and that means cheering and marching bands.   Do you miss the excitement of listening to bands playing to a drum cadence, watching intricate dance moves with a rainbow of choreographed flags while eating a hotdog?

Come for a unique evening at Scotch Plains Fanwood High School football stadium on Saturday, September 21st from 5:00pm to 9:00pm and be part of the 15th Annual Marching Band Festival UNDER THE LIGHTS.  Over 12 area high school bands will be performing classic and contemporary music in full costume, and competing for the highest score within their group.   The day will culminate with a trophy ceremony.

The concession stand will be open all evening selling hotdogs, drinks and ice cream.

Unlike other schools that charge $10.00 plus a program fee, the admission to this event is only $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for students and seniors.  With every a paid admission you receive a free program.   A rain date will be announced.

Come out and support your local band and music program.  To find out more about making a donation to support the event, email Tracey Foley at thefoleyfamily5@verizon.net

Scotch Plains Fanwood High School is located at 667 Westfield Road, Scotch Plains 07023.  The football stadium is located behind the high school at the rear of the parking lot.
