OCD Expert to Discuss Treatment

Dr. Allen Weg will discuss Treatment and Management of Adult Obsessive Compulsive Disorder at NAMI Union County’s public meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014, at the American Legion Post at 1003 North Ave. in Westfield at 7:30 p.m.

 

Dr Weg is a NJ Licensed Psychologist. He is Founder and Executive Director of Stress and Anxiety Services of New Jersey, a multi-therapist independent clinic in East Brunswick, specializing in individual as well as group cognitive behavioral treatment of anxiety disorders in children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Weg is also Co-Founder and Vice President on the Board of Directors of OCD New Jersey, an affiliate of the International OCD Foundation, where he is a member on the Scientific Advisory Board.

His book entitled, “OCD Treatment Through Storytelling: A Strategy for Successful Therapy,” is published by Oxford University Press. Interviewed by NPR; Featured on ABC’s TV show, 20/20: Primetime; blogging for PsychologyToday.com; and frequent speaker at mental health conferences, Dr. Weg has been featured repeatedly in the media.
