Fanwood Library to Host Children's Drama Workshop
The hosts a free summer drama workshop, starting Tuesday, June 28, for children entering grades five through nine.Registration packets are available at the library. For more information, contact Susan Staub or Camille Sigona at 908-322-6400 or sstaub@fanwoodlibrary.org.

Teen Reading for the Summer
The Fanwood Memorial Library Kick-Off to Summer Reading also takes place Tuesday, June 28 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. This program, with the theme, "You Are Here," is for all teens entering grades six through 12, and will focus on books and other materials on foreign places and travel. For registration and other information, contact the library at 908-322-6400.

The is also conducting the same travel-related program for teens. Its kick-off event is Monday, June 27, starting at 9 a.m.

Nominations for Outstanding Scotch Plains Volunteers Now Being Accepted
Nominations for the 2011 Scotch Plains Volunteers of the Year and Volunteer Organization of the Year are now being accepted by the Scotch Plains Recreation Department. Recipients of these awards are feted at the annual Mayor's Charity Gala in December. Nomination forms can be found at the Recreation Department in the municipal building or online at the township's web site.

Business Networking Event on Tuesday in Fanwood
Club West at 218B South Avenue in Fanwood is hosting a business networking event on Tuesday, June 21 from 6 to 8 p.m.  This is a chance to meet Fanwood business owners and members of the community. Refreshments, raffles, music, games and prizes will be available, along with samples and coupons for Club West.
