Summer Foreign Films at the Scotch Plains Public Library
will be screening seven Academy Award-winning foreign films over successive Saturdays, starting this weekend. All shows will be subtitled in English and will begin at 11 a.m. The first movie will be “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon,” which is rated PG-13. All showings are free and open to the public. FSPY Swim Club Tryouts
 holds tryouts for its Piranhas Swim Team next Wednesday, July 13, from 5 to 7 p.m., and next Saturday, July 16, from 1 to 3 p.m. Interested swimmers are asked to pre-register for the tryout dates at the Front Desk.
