Temple Sholom Open House for Religious School

Temple Sholom, a Reform Jewish congregation in Fanwood/Scotch Plains, will be holding an open house for its religious school on Sunday, May 6, from 10:30 am until noon.  Learn about the congregation’s wonderful, grant-winning family track curriculum, meet their highly regarded director of education, Michelle Shapiro Abraham, and gain some insight into why their students love Hebrew school.  The temple’s philosophy is to engage students and their families in a dynamic learning environment, with the goal of inspiring them to live a meaningful Jewish life.

The open house will be held in the lobby of Union Catholic High School, located at 1600 S. Martine Ave in Scotch Plains.  Enter through the main entrance or through the back corner door nearest the large parking lot. Children are welcome, and school-age children may sit in on age-appropriate classes.  Drawing supplies will be available for younger children.  For more information or to rsvp, contact Membership Chair Ellen Wolff at ellenginzbursky@yahoo.com or Michelle Shapiro Abraham at educator@sholomnj.org or 908-889-4900.
