The Y Personal Fitness Program is designed for anyone interested in making a lasting lifestyle change by incorporating fitness into their normal routine. Regular exercise can help enhance the quality of your life while improving mood and energy level, reducing stress, injury and illness and leading you down a path towards better health and fitness. This specially designed program provides a structured fitness routine that gradually adds new exercises through the course of 12 weeks. These small increments will lead to greater success in achieving your fitness goals.
During this time, participants will commit to exercising three days a week on your own schedule. There are four one-on-one coaching sessions with
personal attention and extra motivation from a Y Personal Fitness Coach to keep you on track. This includes cardiovascular exercise, strength and flexibility training either in a group exercise class or in the Wellness Center. The Y will be there to help you improve your mental and physical well-being, increase your daily energy, make new friends and be equipped to make exercise a regular and enjoyable activity.
