Governor Makes a Lunch Stop at Ferraro's Restaurant

Christie brought smiles to the faces of Anna and Palmiero Ferraro when he showed up at their Westfield restaurant for the afternoon meal.

As part of his well-attended visit to Scotch Plains, Gov. Chris Christie visited Ferraro's Restaurant for lunch, delighting the staff and patrons of the Westfield eatery.

Anna and Palmiero Ferraro, owners of the restaurant since 1969, were on hand to visit New Jersey's chief executive, who is running for re-election.

"We are so happy the governor decided to join us for lunch," the Ferraros said in a joint statement. "We loved having him him here, and he enjoyed his visit.  We hope he will come back and see us again soon.

"It was a memorable day for Ferraro's."
