Has Your Teen Visited the Scotch Plains Library Lately?

January brings several teen programs including the library's popular Teen Scene sessions.

The Scotch Plains Public Library will be hosting a series of events for teens in January 2014.

Ring in the New Year with the ScotLib staff on Monday, January 6 at 4 p.m.
Teens in grades 6 & up are invited to check out what the staff has planned
for 2014.  Check out the newly released books and enjoy a quick snack.
Discuss what you have read lately and any books you received for the
holidays. Sign up for upcoming events & learn about Teen Advisory Board.

On Monday, January 13 at 3:30 p.m., the Scotch Plains Public Library will be
hosting a film viewing of "The Lightning Thief" for teens in grades 6 & up.
Snack on blue foods and vote on which is better—the book or the movie. Follow
up with the sequel Sea of Monsters in February.

The library will continue to host its ever popular Teen Scene sessions on
Tuesday, January 21 and Monday, January 27 at 3:30 p.m.  Teens can play Wii
and board games as well as complete a fun and interactive craft.

These programs are free and open to all interested participants in grades
6-12. Attendees are encouraged to register through the library’s website:
http://www.scotlib.org, by phone: 908-322-5007 x.204 or e-mail
