Good Weather and Great Turnout for Annual Scotch Plains Day

Food and fun ruled as friends and neighbors enjoyed the weather and attractions

Downtown Scotch Plains was closed to traffic today as merchants, food vendors, community organizations and political candidates set-up shop. There was plenty of foot traffic,  with attendees meandering down the street - munching on snacks and browsing the fun and well-priced items on display.  There were free balloons for kids and free water bottles and lunch bags courtesy of political candidates and corporate sponsors.

There's plenty more coverage coming later -- but here's a quick look at Scotch Plains Day 2010.
