Oasis Church Moves to Snuffy’s Pantagis in Scotch Plains

On Feb. 10 Oasis Church will begin holding service in the ballrooms of Snuffy's.

The following information was provided by Oasis Church.

Oasis-Church-NJ.com, a 2 year old non-denominational Christian church with 2 locations in Central NJ, is moving from it’s current Springfield, NJ location! On Sunday at 10:30am on February 10, 2013 , Oasis will begin celebrating worship services at the Famous Snuffy's Pantagis Renaissance ballrooms. Situated at the corner of RT 22 East and 250 Park Avenue in Scotch Plains, the church will have use of the entire second floor & third floors (with its exquisite ballrooms and suites) for their worship services and Oasis Kids programs.

For more information about Oasis go to www.Oasis-Church-NJ.com or call Pastor Dave Butler at 732-406-7821.

Why the move? According to Dave Butler, Lead Pastor at Oasis, “Although we were pleased at Hotel 304 West, we basically had no more room to grow. The ballrooms at Snuffy’s Pantagis will not only give us the room to grow our regular Sunday morning services, but also our Oasis kids age graded Sunday school programs, which are a big priority for us. Personally, as a native of Scotch Plains and the surrounding area, I’m also really excited to be coming home to the town I grew up in. Everybody and their uncle knows about Snuffy’s, and the location has easy access right off Route 22 East and Park Ave .

In order to help attendees enjoy their Sundays even more, Oasis has partnered with Snuffy's Pantagis in order to help guests save money on eating out after services. All Oasis attendees of the Grand Re-Opening Celebration and all future services (with submission of Oasis card) will receive 20% off food and drinks at the Famous Snuffy's Steakhouse Restaurant located right on the premises.

NOTE: Prior to the February 10th move Oasis continues to meet at Hotel 304 West
on RT 22 in Springfield Sundays 10:30am.

On Easter Sunday Oasis will be celebrating simultaneous Easter Sunday church services and Ester Egg Hunts at the special time of 10am. One service will be at Snuffy's Pantagis, while the other will be at the Regal Hadley Cinema Theater Stadium located in South Plainfield. At the latter location Oasis in Middlesex County will begin monthly services on this date leading up to the launch of weekly services here on September 15.

Oasis church is a family friendly, casual church with a great worship band, and relevant messages people can use in everyday life. Join us this Sunday!

Don't mean to rain on anyone's parade so to speak but I do not believe that using this venue for school or church services is a permitted use and it is probably a violation of the local zoning ordinance.

You should look into the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act (RLUIPA), If the town, (for what ever reason) were to shut it down, they wouldn't have a leg to stand on. They'ed loose in court and be liable to pay for attorney fees , damages, religious discrimination etc...
