Open House for Young Families at Willow Grove Church

Willow Grove Church will be sponsoring an open house on Feb. 3 for anyone looking to join the church, following by a special open house for young families.

The following information was provided by Willow Grove Church.

Are you looking for ways to introduce the Christian faith to your children? Have you recently moved to the area or had a baby and are looking to meet other young families? Are you looking for a church home? Please join us for our worship service at 10:00 am on Sunday, February 3rd, followed by a Young Families Open House.

Children are encouraged to come to worship and Sunday School classes for all ages, including nursery care for babies and toddlers, as well as the Open House after. Snacks will be served. February 3rd is Souper Bowl Sunday - please bring a canned food donation if you'd like to participate.

The Open House will last 30 minutes, covering all that Willow Grove Presbyterian Church has to offer parents and children. Programs and groups include Moms’ Growth Group, young families social gatherings, intergenerational lunches and dinners, Men's Night Out, Bible studies, Women’s retreat, KniTTogether, community service projects, youth group, family game and movie nights, contemporary music services and Willow Grove Preschool.

Parents are welcome to talk with Willow Grove's Pastor, Rev. Cynthia Cochran-Carney, about questions regarding faith, the Bible, baptism, Presbyterian beliefs, or any other topic.

Willow Grove Presbyterian Church is more than a place to worship on a Sunday morning. We are committed to helping people experience God’s love and joy as a Christian community of faith, develop meaningful friendships with people of all ages, provide fun and relevant programs for families, and do community service projects that make a difference. Come and see if Willow Grove is the church home you have been looking for. The church is located at 1961 Raritan Road in Scotch Plains near the southside soccer field. (908) 232-5678willowgrovechurch.org
