Scotch Plains Thrift Store Will Hold Sale to Help Rescued Animals

The money raised at the thrift store will help benefit The Best Friend Rescue group.

The following information was provided by Suburban News.

Best Friend Dog and Animal Adoption will have a 50% off Valentine’s Day sale at the thrift store, Saturday, Feb. 9 through Saturday, Feb. 16. The store is located at 1750 E. Second St., Scotch Plains and is open from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., everyday except Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

The Best Friend Rescue group is a not-for-profit organization run solely by volunteers. Shoppers will find many one- of-a-kind items, small furniture, jewelry, collectibles, books, and knick knacks. The group is also accepting donations of new items.

Volunteers are always needed in the thrift shop. Foster homes are desperately needed for cats. Help continue to save lives and give the gift of life to an unfortunate animal waiting to be rescued.

Visit and support the resale shop. For more information call 908-322-2502 or visit pets waiting for adoption at bestfriend.petfinder.com.

Tax-deductible donations are urgently needed and much appreciated by the group. Donations can be sent to P.O. Box 335, Cranford NJ 07016.
