Summer Day Camp Registration Begins Jan. 17

On Thursday, registration for the 2013 Summer Day Camp Program will begin.

The following information was provided by the Scotch Plains Recreation Department.

We’re pleased to announce our 2013 Summer Day Camp Program!  This year, we’re excited to bring back some of the favorites from last year, such as bowling, mini-golf, special events as well as some additional surprises!  We have incorporated many of your recommendations that you filled out on the survey at the end of camp.  Again, we have tried to be very mindful of the economy, thus presenting a program with a slight increase compared to last year.  As in the past, camp will take place at Brookside Park.  The program itself will begin on July 1st, 2013 and run until August 9, 2013, with there being no camp of July 4th.

Registration for camp will begin on January 17th, 2013.  As we've done in the past, we will feature two registration periods:  Our Early Registration period will run from Jan. 17th to February 22nd , with a fee of $350 for the entire 6 weeks.  Our Regular Registration period will begin on through the end of camp, with a fee of $405 for the 6-week program.

Once again for your convenience, you can register & pay for our camp online by clickinghttp://register.communitypass.net/scotchplains or visiting us at www.scotchplainsnj.com.  You may also register in person at the Recreation Office.  Payment can be done in the form of cash, check, Visa or Mastercard.  Additionally, our off-site bus trips will be available in the middle of February for you to sign-up for.  You will receive a reminder from us as soon as we are ready to open up registration.    Please check our website for additional info for specific dates as we approach February.
