Friday and Saturday

— Enlow Recital Hall is hosting the Foulger International Music Festival 2012 Summer Series.  This series will present Romantic Vienna this evening, Friday, July 13, 2012 at 7 p.m.  SCHUBERT Notturno for Piano Trio; STRAUSS Sonata for Violin and Piano; SCHOENBERG "Transfigured Night." — The Salem Roadhouse Cafe is will once again present its "Cool Jazz For Hot Summer Nights" music series. With the Roadhouse being located below grade, plus having excellent air conditioning, it’ll be the best place around on a hot, sticky summer night. Enjoy smooth, sophisticated jazz vocals as provided by the Stephen Fuller and his Quartet. — Saturday, Union, 8 p.m., $15

— The Psycho 78s Renegade Roller Derby, the first and only No-Holds-Barred roller derby team in New Jersey, will host a charity roller derby game tonight, July 14, 2012 at 5 p.m.  The 78s are NJ's first no-rules team, and are the first co-ed no-rules travel team in modern derby, meaning they are the only team allowing for fighting, showboating, etc., and also allow men and women to skate together.  — Friday, Parsippany, 5 p.m. $10

— Temple Sha'arey Sahlom invites the community to come and meet Rabbi Rosenberg by joining us for Summer Shabbat services every Friday evening at 8 p.m. through August 24, 2012.  Dress is casual.  Meet our new Rabbi and learn more about Temple Sha'arey Shalom. — The 103rd celebration of this wonderful feast, with great food, music, games and the longest firework display in New Jersey. Monday is the Feast Day and there will be a parade and a pyrotechnic display sponsored by Investors Saving Bank. — Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Berkeley Heights, 6 p.m., Free

— Premiere Stages, the professional theatre in residence at Kean University presents Kathryn Grant’s Handicapped People in Their Formal Attire from July 12 - 29, 2012.  Showtimes are Thursdays and Fridays at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. Tickets are $30 standard, $20 senior citizen and $15 student. — Friday, Saturday, Sunday — Union — $30, $20, $15

— RC has been doing TV warm up for ten years and will be performing live this weekend @ The Comedy Cove. RC's show is also featuring the very funny Carolyn Busa  & John Clark. — Friday and Saturday, Springfield, 9 p.m., $13

— Dog Adoption Event, from 11 a.m.-4 p.m., at Pet Supplies Plus, 410 Springfield Ave., Berkeley Heights, NJ. Sponsored by Home for Good Dog Rescue. — Enlow Recital Hall presents Young Performers Concert Series.  This series will take place on Tuesdays, Thursday, and Saturdays, beginning July 7, 2012 at 7 p.m. There will be two concerts on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. The students of the Young Performers program perform solo and chamber music. — "Movies Under the Stars" returns to Hanson Park on Friday, July 13 at 8:00 p.m., sponsored by Cranford Rotary and Spencer Savings Bank. This year's presentation is "We Bought a Zoo" rated PG starring Matt Damon. The movie is FREE. Popcorn and soft drinks are available for a nominal donation. These proceeds collected will benefit the charitable endeavors of the Cranford Rotary. — Join us at the Deutscher Club of Clark for a wonderful time under the lights and trees at our Friday night Beirgartens.   Serving traditional German fare, Beer and live music.  A number of classic and new cars will be on display at each of our events. Sunday

— The Northern New Jersey Affiliate of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network will host an Awareness Night with the Somerset Patriots as they take on the Camden Riversharks to raise awareness and funds for pancreatic cancer research. The awareness event will take place on July 15, 2012 at TD Bank Ballpark at 5:05 p.m. Tickets are $10 each and are available for purchase online at www.pancan.org/newjersey. A portion of each ticket sold will benefit the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. — Sunday, Bridgewater, 5:05 p.m., $10

— 14th Annual Fun Day for Lupus at the Monmouth Racetrack today, Sunday July 15, 2012, noon until the end of the races.
