Runs, hayrides and more on the agenda Oct. 20 and Oct. 21.
Take a look at this weekend in SPF:
At 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20, Union Catholic will hold its second annual Race to the Gold 5k to benefit UC athletic programs.
At 9 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 21, Fanwood will hold its annual Fanwood 5k and 1 mile family run. The family run begins at 9, while the 5k kicks off at 9:30 a.m.
Both Saturday and Sunday enjoy hayride at Parker Gardens, great for the whole family.
On Oct. 19-21, as part of the "Four Centuries in a Weekend" event, The Osborn Cannonball House in Scotch Plains will house an exhibit featuring bridal fashions and accessories from the 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries.
The Scotch Plains Recreation Commission invites all to try out the renovations at Kramer Park beginning at 5:30 pm on Saturday Oct. 20. Enjoy updated tennis and basketball courts as well as a brand new lighting system. The improvements to Kramer Park were made possible through funding from the Township as well as the Union County Recreation Kids Grant Program
