Water Main Replacement Begins Tuesday on Jerusalem Road

The work will be completed on or about Jan. 21.

Beginning at 10 a.m. today, New Jersey American Water will be replacing a 30-foot-long section of a leaking 36-inch water main near Jerusalem Road.

"We do not anticipate any disruption to customers' services," External Affairs Manager Richard G. Barnes writes Patch. "We will be cutting out a 20-foot section of pipe, putting in a new section of pipe and adapter, then flushing out the water main and putting it back into service."

The map here shows where the work will be performed. It will be completed on or about Jan. 21, according to Barnes.
