British Invasion Band Will Play Last Summer Concert of the Season

Carnaby Street will perform hits by the Beatles, Rolling Stones and more at 7:30 p.m. on the Scotch Plains Village Green.

The final concert in the Cultural Arts Scotch Plains Summer Concert Series is Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. with a performance by Carnaby Street.

The concert, which will take place on the Alan Augustine Village Green adjacent to the Municipal Building, features music from the “British Invasion” era in music with songs by the Beatles, The Rolling Stones and others.  Local businesses will be on the green as well with free giveaways as well as food and refreshments to purchase.

The concert series, which is run by the Cultural Arts Committee, is supported by donations from local businesses including platinum sponsor Investors Bank.
