Imperial Brass Concert at Willow Grove Presbyterian Church

Hear Imperial Brass in concert on Sunday, June 12 at 3:00 p.m. at its home, Willow Grove Presbyterian Church in Scotch Plains.  Imperial Brass is a 30-piece brass ensemble known throughout New Jersey for performing a diverse array of musical numbers. The concert will feature renowned jazz cornetist Warren Vache. 

The concert will be conducted by Dr. Thomas McCauley, the conductor of the Montclair State University Wind Symphony and Symphonic Band.

Imperial Brass has recorded four CDs, the most recent being Bone-A-Fide Brass with Joseph Alessi, principal trombone with the N.Y. Philharmonic and Have Yourself a Brassy Little Christmas. It is the goal of Imperial Brass to introduce audiences everywhere to the wonderful world of brass.  See their website for more information www.imperialbrass.org

Tickets are on sale in advance and at the door.  Ticket prices are $15, seniors and students - $12, and free for children 12 and under. Following the concert a reception with light refreshments will take place. The concert location will be the sanctuary of Willow Grove Presbyterian Church, 1961 Raritan Road in Scotch Plains as part of the Music and the Arts ministry.
