Learn, Grow and Strive - Scotch Plains YMCA

The Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA is participating in Y Arts Week at their main facility located at 1340 Martine Avenue in Scotch Plains.  The week beginning October 3, 2011 – October 9, 2011 will display an array of artwork for all to view as well as special creative lessons in Photography, Culinary Arts, Knitting, Guitar, Mosaics, Ballroom Dancing and more!

Come and celebrate the week by attending one or more of the following displays or lessons:

Monday, October 3rd - will feature an Artwork Display by Sandra Cerchio at 10:00am, Artwork Display by Connie Pikowski at 11:00am, Digital Photography – Beyond the Basics at Noon and Culinary Arts – Kids cooking with Jackie Leischer from 3:30-4:15pm.

Wednesday, October 5th - will feature the Knitting Club at 10:00am and Artwork with Cathy Harris at 6:00pm.

Thursday, October 6th - will feature an Artwork display by Marion Durette in our lobby and Artwork by Mary Sue Schwab in our Cafe, Guitar lesson with John LaGrecca from 12:00p - 1:00pm and Mosaics with Kelly Marie Albanese in our Café at 7:00pm.

Friday, October 7th - will feature an Artwork display by Marion Durette and Mary Sue Schwab and ballroom dancing with Megan Moran at 8:00pm.

Saturday, October 9th - will feature pictures with Marianne Iannitto at 11:00am.
