Montessori Madness

Free event

A parent to parent talk about how the principles of Montessori are not just important to young children, but how it is important in our "real world" lives as adults. Trevor Eissler, uses examples from his career as a pilot to describe how Montessori's ideas regarding internal rewards and punishments, the prepared environment, mixed-age classrooms, the treatment of error, and more are all relevant in all careers throughout all industries.  He passionately makes the case for how Montessori education prepares children for the real world.

Trevor Eissler, father of three Montessori students, is a pilot and
flight instructor. He has trained hundreds of pilots over fifteen
years. He is an author, a juggler, a unicyclist, a Toastmaster, a
pianist, a triathlete, and a husband. He wants to be a Montessori
student when he grows up.
