Palm Sunday Services at Willow Grove

Willow Grove Church of Scotch Plains invites the community to join in events to lead us closer to God and deepen our understanding of our journeys through life. The services reflect the last week of Christ's life, his last supper,with the disciples, his death and crucifixion, and then the joyful celebration of his resurrection from dead on Easter morning. Children and youth are encouraged to participate in the services.

The Palm Sunday service focuses on Jesus' triumphant arrival in Jerusalem among cheering crowsds. The Reverend Cynthia Cochran-Carney will preach a sermon "He was going on a Journey" featuring a reader's theater  piece. The service will include a children's procession of palms and special music.
