R.U.M.P. for Haiti Benefit Concert at Crossroads in Garwood

R.U.M.P.=Relief from United McGinn Parents, a group of parents from the McGinn School community - unaffiliated with the PTA or the Board - who have banded together for a benefit concert to raise money for Winchell Alce, a crossing guard at McGinn School who lost close family in the Haiti earthquakes and must now care for several surviving family members whom he has flown to safety in the U.S. (See related Scotch Plains Fanwood Patch article)

Performers will include:

"One Brick Short" featuring McGinn dad Don Tobey on guitar.

"Bored of Education" featuring McGinn Band Instructor Charlie Jackson on drums   

"Eric Harrison's Crash Chorus" featuring McGinn dad Eric Harrison.

Other musical guests from the McGinn School Community will include McGinn parents Dennis Wall, Karen Iannoccone, Becky Liebowitz and others.  

There will also be a raffel for prizes donated by local businesses.  

Tickets are $20 and may be purchased at the door or online at www.xxroads.com.

All proceeds will go to help Winchell and his family.
