THE ART AND THEOLOGY OF MARC CHAGALL

Learn more about the art and theology of Marc Chagall.  Come, and explore the art of Marc Chagall, one of the most prolific and popular painters of the twentieth century. Watch to see his technique develop and style change through the rise of modernism. Share your impressions of his work and mission as history is told through the art of Chagall, along with his beliefs about Judaism, Christianity, and politics - from his childhood in Belarus to his adulthood in the western capitols and art centers of the world.

The Art of Marc Chagall is one of the many programs developed by Doug Rollender for Adult Education in local churches.

Mr. Rollender recently retired from Alcatel-Lucent , where he managed product and market planning and industry standards development. He has been awarded twenty-one US and European patents related to wireless networking and mobile communications. His education includes a BA in speech from Hofstra University, an MA in Religion from from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg, an MS in Organizational Behavior from the University of Hartford, and completion of doctoral courses in communication at Rutgers University.
