Fanwood Rec Department Presents Three Arts Classes for Winter

The Fanwood Recreation Department presents three art classes for the winter including, make your own comic book, passport to art and young at art.


The following information was provided by the Fanwood Recreation Department.

Fanwood Recreation Department will be presenting three Art Classes for their Winter 2013 Season. The three classes will be run by Fanwood based Picasso's Basement LLC which is an art enrichment program created and run by Art Educator and Illustrator Paula Cohen.

MAKE YOUR OWN COMIC BOOK will be offered on Tuesdays 1/22-3/12 from 4-5pm at Forest Road Park. It's for 3-6th graders and takes students through the comic book making process. In the end their books will be printed into REAL comic books! 
PASSPORT TO ART will be offered on Wednesdays 1/23-3/13 from 4-5 at Lagrande Park. For 1-4th graders, artists will create passports and "travel" to different countries each work, creating new exciting art pieces. 
YOUNG AT ART is for ages 4-5 and will be offered on Thursdays from 1-2pm at Lagrande Park. It will feature fun projects inspired by our favorite childrens books. Artists will be introduced to collage, watercolor, pen and ink and sculpture.
