Free Movie Nights in Fanwood Start Tuesday

The Fanwood Recreation Commission hosts the sixth annual Party in the Park on the first Free Movie Night of the summer at LaGrande Park Tuesday from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. (rain date is Wednesday, June 26). 

Food, beverages, music, rides, contests and crafts inspired by the free movie of the evening, "ParaNorman," which will begin at dusk. The movie is all free but small fees will be charged for rides and some food items. This year's Free Summer Movie Series, family-friendly flicks on a state-of-the-art, 16 foot-wide outdoor movie screen, will be every Tuesday night starting June 25 through August 13th, at dusk. The movies are: 

• June 25: ParaNorman
• July 2: The Pirates! Band of Misfits
• July 9: Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days
• July 16: Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted
• July 23: Brave
• July 30: Hotel Transylvania
• August 6: Oz the Great and Powerful
• August 13: The Avengers (PG-13)
