Italian Feast Returns to Scotch Plains This Weekend

The Scotch Plains-Fanwood Chapter of UNICO, St. Bartholomew's Church and St. Bartholomew's Academy, host the annual festival.

Hosted by the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Chapter of UNICO, St. Bartholomew's Church and St. Bartholomew's Academy, the Labor Day Italian Feast has been an annual tradition honoring San Nicola di Bari, the patron saint of the town of Montazzoli, Italy since 1974. 

This weekend marks the festival's 39th year.

The family event has something for everyone, including nightly live music, rides, games, and food including favorites like pizza, pasta, zeppoles, clams, mussels, and calzones. In addition, there are nightly 50/50 drawings and a super 50/50 raffle on Monday.

 Proceeds from the feast benefit three organizations:

Saturday, August 31st
 (4:30 PM to 10:30 PM)
Mass in Italian - 5:00 PM
Immediately after Mass, Procession honoring San Nicola di Bari led by the Mike Aramondo Procession Band
Listen to the Eric DeLaurowinner of Sinatra Idol perform a Tribute to Sinatra
Showtime 7:00 PM

Sunday, September 1st-(4:30 PM to 10:30 PM)
