The Westfield band has been providing musical entertainment for community events since 1912. It is recognized as one of the premier bands in New Jersey.

Fanwood Mayor Colleen Mahr and Scotch Plains Mayor Kevin Glover  are pleased to again host the Memorial Weekend Concert at the Fanwood train station.  This year, we are recognizing the deceased and wounded warriors of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars as well as all other military personnel who lost their lives in service to our country. Our communities are proud to give appropriate recognition of the ultimate sacrifice made by our valiant service men and women.
